Lesly McBride, marketing teacher at Colonial Heights High School, presses a Coins for Cancer T-shirt. Students in her advanced marketing class collected money for cancer detection during two weeks of lunches. Those that donated more than $10 received a T-shirt.
Wednesday, Oct. 28 was the "Pink Out" day at the school, with many students, faculty and staff wearing the T-shirts or other pink clothing. The money will go to the Ellen de Shaw Paredes Breast Cancer Foundation.
